Local Resources

In addition to any counsel or coaching they may receive, we recommend abusive men take full responsibility for their change process and voluntarily admit themselves to a state-accredited Batterers Intervention and Prevention Program (BIPP). BIPP facilitators are well versed in the dynamics and impact of abuse, including emotional abuse. Men may do so by contacting county resources and/or their local county domestic abuse agency or shelter. To learn more about why we recommend BIPPs to men (even and especially in advance of their participation in the Men of Peace Self-Paced Course), please listen to Episode #141 of The PeaceWorks Podcast (Episode #141) -BIP Programs and Intervention.
